Health System is seeking an additional BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join two other physicians in a group practice setting. We are looking for a physician who enjoys quality of life, small town living, and will make our community a permanent home. This is a wonderful place to raise a family and there is no shortage of outdoor activity to accommodate a variety of lifestyles.
The city is conveniently located 1 hour from Asheville, Charlotte and Greenville, SC! Established in 1787, it is the seat of Rutherford County and one of the oldest towns in western North Carolina. This Revolutionary War-era town has managed to keep its old-time charm while keeping step with the 21st century, from the cluster of antebellum homes in the historic district at the north end of town to the fiber optic hub on the south end. The town s ridgetop elevations offer stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and its location in the Isothermal Belt offers mild weather and outstanding beauty in four distinct seasons. Nearby Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are two of the most visited tourist destinations in North Carolina, and the county is located less than five hours from the Atlantic Ocean.
